Your lesson for today is on plagiarism and cheating. There is a video that you will watch and post comments to. The video is found in your junior folder, cross curriculum, MonD Player. In key word, type in 'Cheating". Click on the video called "Caught Cheating with Charles Gibson". You will watch the section on plagiarism and academic honesty. Then anwer and comment to the following. I will not post comments until the class is finished. If you finish early, you may have "free time" on Destiny.
Have fun and be HONEST!!!

About Comments on Posting
Just a few tips when commenting on posts. Make sure your name is on your comment somewhere so you can get credit for posting something.
The last post asked you to discuss a Canadian athlete. About half of the class failed to tell me the sport that they are competing in.
We will try it again in two weeks.
See you soon!!!!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year 2010!!
We will be using the blogs again to do our lessons in the library. I will be teaching you how to use the program Audacity to make podcasts. Podcasts are digital audiofiles. You will be posting your answers/research as a podcast for the whole class to listen to. After my brief lesson on podcasts... you will visit the Olympic site and send me a post telling me where the torch is today and how many days left until the Olympics begins in Vancouver.
Happy Researching.
Mrs. Brennan
